U4 Learn to Play Program
Building Skills to Develop Young Players
The U4 Program is designed specifically for 4 year olds (must be age 4 by June 1, 2020) who are interested in beginning to learn the basic skills and fundamentals of playing recreational soccer.
About the Season
The U4 Program is held during the EYSA soccer season.
There are 4 group practice sessions that occur mid-May into June and 8 games throughout June and July.
Individual coaches may have additional practices during the month of May.
What They’ll Learn
The program is designed to teach the fundamentals of playing soccer and an initial team learning experience.
Emphasis is placed on building strength and coordination for kicking, passing, and shooting.
Special focus is placed on learning to work as a team, healthy habits, and developing social skills.
Where It All Happens
All skill training sessions and games are held at JS Wilson Middle School – 901 West 54th Street Erie, PA 16509.
JS Wilson and Millcreek Township School District has no involvement with this program – Do not contact them.
$55 per player - Each player receives an EYSA team shirt and a soccer ball.
*A $20 late fee will be charged for registrations postmarked or submitted after March 21.
